Makers Nutrition is proud to announce its participation in United Way of Long Island’s annual Stuff-A-Bus program, an initiative aimed at providing students across Long Island with essential school supplies. From June 30 through August 1, Makers Nutrition employees collected backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, glue sticks, and other classroom staples to help ensure students head into the new school year confident and prepared.
This year’s drive is part of Makers Nutrition’s ongoing commitment to community service and its dedication to giving back to local families in need. Organized entirely in-office, the drive has sparked enthusiasm throughout the company, with employees contributing generously to support the educational success of children throughout the region.
“Our team understands the importance of education and the difference that access to basic school supplies can make in a child’s life,” said Stephen Finnegan, Executive Vice President of Makers Nutrition. “Participating in United Way’s Stuff-A-Bus program gives us the chance to directly impact local students and ease the financial burden for so many families.”
United Way of Long Island’s Stuff-A-Bus initiative collects and distributes thousands of supplies annually, helping children from underserved communities across Long Island start the school year on the right foot.
