In 2016 Makers Nutrition expanded its successful Private Label Product Line for both Makers Nutrition and for its softgel-specialist company, StockSoftgels.com. Though primarily a custom supplement manufacturer, Makers Nutrition saw an opportunity to service smaller clients and startups that cannot afford the high minimum order quantities required for custom manufacturing or to wait 8 to 12 weeks for a new custom product to hit the shelves.
Last year, Makers Nutrition to invested in manufacturing the most popular supplements on the market and made this inventory available to clients for immediate delivery and at low minimum order quantities.
“At Makers Nutrition, we believe this investment in inventory today is an investment in the success of these small companies that may become our largest clients in the future,” said Finnegan.
“We started our stock program at Makers Nutrition with a few protein powders, and some pre-workout and post-workout powders. The success of these products surprised us but still we found ourselves having little to offer the small investor who was not looking for sports nutrition or body building products. The volume of callers hoping to do a great product with us but who did not have the funds to cover custom work was large. We recognized the passion in the voices of these clients and wanted to help make their dreams come true. We knew if we could help them launch a product affordably and overwhelm them with excellent customer service, they would stick with Makers Nutrition as their businesses grew. We decided to do something about it. “
Makers Nutrition now offers 22 different stock formulas and StockSoftgels.com offers over 40. All are available for purchase at quantities as low as 500 bottles.
“It is not unusual for our competitors to have minimums of 1,500, 2,500 or even 5,000 bottles. This simply disqualifies too many budding entrepreneurs.
